A fine map with very good margins, tiny split on centre crease c. 5cms. Contemporary colouring, the mainland coloured in dark brown around the coastline up to the Murray Firth around the Southern Coast along to Beaulie and then virtually due West to Arigouan; the Northern part up to the Pentland Firth is Orangie Yellow and the Islands are Olive Green. The Cartouche is in a lovely bright style in red, blue and russet The Orkneys and Shetland are in a box at the top right hand corner. In the bottom left is a title cartouche with German, English and Scottish mileage bars above. A very nice map in excellent condition with very big margins. £285.00

Though he often fell out of favour with Pitt, he persuaded him to accede to his request for a board of Agriculture.
